Liverpool presenting new seven million pound bid for Blackpool’s Charlie Adam
Liverpool fans might see Charlie Adam don the Red jersey this season if the Merseyside club is successful in hiring the Scot from Blackpool.
If media reports are to be believed, the Reds have increased their offer from 4 million pounds to 7 million to push their chances ever higher – a deal which Liverpool is desperately trying to ink since the last 1 month.
Reports have confirmed that Reds are going at the player yet again, but this time they have increased their bid from 4 million pounds to 7 million pounds. Earlier, they were confronted with a blunt refusal by a stubborn Blackpool, who refused to budge from the asking range.
Media reports have also confirmed that club officials and their new manager Kenny Dalglish are all ready to compromise at some level to obtain the Scottish player. As the only problem in his transfer was a financial agreement, hence an obvious adjustment was required in the bid.
Now, Liverpool are planning to do just that. Money will not be a matter for them now as they have been scouring the market since the opening of January’s transfer window. Despite their wandering, they are yet to strike success as no big names have yet arrived at Kop.
With the transfer window about to vanish down the rabbit’s hole, new owners, New http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 Sports Ventures along with new manager Dalglish are looking forward to add a new face to their squad.
The prodigal Scottish international has had a brilliant season with Blackpool. He has been rumoured to depart from Bloomfield Road after interest from clubs apart from Liverpool, Aston Villa and Birmingham City arrived and kept on knocking and demanding for the attacking midfielder.
Blackpool manager, Ian Holloway has expressed his thought on the offers he has received for his skipper Adam as “derisory”. So far, the best offer that has arrived for Adam is as high as 4.5 million pounds.
In spite of all the problems Holloway had with Anfield and its board, latest reports from Merseyside have informed of a signing, near to be inked on paper.
Blackpool chairman, Karl Oyston has also reiterated of bids being presented from all over the place. He was on mutual consensus with manager Holloway when he said that all bids so far were not just worth Adam’s quality.
On the issue, Holloway stated, “We received a verbal bid of £4m [from Liverpool] for Charlie on Friday, but it doesn't change the situation. He's still a player who is under contract with Blackpool and Liverpool's offer only matches previous offers we have recently turned down from Aston Villa.”
Holloway continued, “When I got Charlie he was a very frustrated young man and now he is looking a fantastic footballer. You saw (against Sunderland) he was totally focused on playing as well as he can. He is doing himself, his family and our club proud.”

http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 are desperately looking to reform their team so they can get back to the winning ways after experiencing a dismissive first half of the season. Their new manager, Scot Dalglish or King Kenny as he is more popularly known these days is finally bringing some new blood to the club.
All pundits, experts and football officials had a similar stance on the amount of responsibility and pressure put on the shoulders of Spanish world-class striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Gerrard-c34196.
Dalglish is trying to eliminate that and resolve Reds age-old problem of not having an independent attacking midfielder or a proper shadow striker. He has reviewed a couple of names and along with Adam the other possible signing for Liverpool this fall might be of the coveted Ajax’s Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez.
