Martin Kelly has praised the efforts of the medical staff at the club for keeping him injury free and available for selection this season.

However, this term the player has been a regular member of the Reds’ squad and more often than not finds himself fit and available for selection.
The player has been putting in extra hours in the gym and working in tandem with the staff at Liverpool in order to reach the levels of fitness that have kept him injury free this season.
He said, “The big positive for me so far this season has been being available for every squad and being injury free.”

However, he was quick to thank the medics, “That’s a big thanks to the medical staff at the club and doing work in the gym after training which has helped keep me in tip-top shape.”

“It can be frustrating at times being in and out of the side but that’s because of the club I’m at. It’s got such good players and I’ve to wait for my chance.”
He continued, “When I do play I just have to keep showing everyone what I can do.”
He concluded, “For me to get the best out of my career I need the top players around me pushing me and I can also learn off them.”
