Liverpool sign Brad Jones
Liverpool have signed Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones for a fee of £2.3million, the north east club have confirmed on their website.
The Australian international underwent a medical at Liverpool's Melwood training ground today, and signs for the Reds as backup for current number one 'keeper Pepe Reina.
The 28-year-old made 57 league appearances for Boro, and has also had loan spells with Shelbourne, Stockport, Rotherham, Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday. He has won two caps for his country.
Jones becomes new Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson's sixth signing of the summer following the captures of Joe Cole, Milan Jovanovic, Danny Wilson, Christian Poulsen and the re-signing of Fabio Aurelio.
