Liverpool to potentially lose Daniel Agger
German side VFL Wolfsburg, have been reported to be the latest team to enter the race to land Liverpool’s out of favor center back Daniel Agger. The team are reported to be so interested
in the player that they are looking to out bid the likes of Inter Milan and Juventus in hopes of securing the players services.
The Danish international is currently in his sixth consecutive season with Liverpool, but has failed to make many appearances for the team, due to countless injury problems. In fact
the player hasn't made an appearance for the team since September twenty fifth, when he picked up a calf injury and is still out recovering from that knock.
The player is currently being valued at around ten million pounds, but if he is made available to the market, then it is safe to say that price would escalate quite a bit depending
on the number of bidders that are looking to land the player.
However the fact that the player is on his way out of the club, seems to come as a shock to most football experts. This is because Agger was recently reported to have stated that he
was looking to fight for his spot at Anfield and was going to bringing some unforgettable performances once he made his comeback. However the player could be looking to pull in some brilliant performances so that he could secure a move to an even better club.
At the current moment, the football market is dried up of quality center backs and the likes of Agger are currently in high demand. If a move is made for the player by the likes of
Inter Milan or even Real Madrid, then not only would the player find it hard to turn down the offers, but Liverpool might find it impossible to turn away the clubs as well.
However what can be said for a fact is the fact that player will be a Liverpool player till the end of the season and will be looking to move away in the summers, if he does decide
to make the switch.
