Liverpool versus Manchester City – Premier League Picks – Gameweek 13 – Extra Time
We have taken a detailed and comprehensive look at the home side ahead of Sunday’s crucial clash between Liverpool and Manchester City in thehttp://www.senore.com/Liverpool-versus-Manchester-City-Premier-League-Picks-Gameweek-13-2nd-Half-a114423 part of this series of articles and now it is time to turn our attention to the high flying and seemingly unstoppable Manchester City.
Firstly, by taking a look at Manchester City’s away form in the Barclays Premier League.
Manchester City are unbeaten in the league so far with a tally of 16 points out of a possible 18 from their travels. Their home form is even more impressive where they have maintained a 100% record.
At the same time, the only draw in the City’s spectacular season has been away from home, though they seem to have made up for it by winning every game since then, that is barring their defeat in the Champions League against Napoli.

Moving on to the line-up and seeing if we can find any potential point earning players among Manchester City’s ranks.
Goal Keeper: Joe Hart – maybe not this time
Joe Hart has been a solid choice when it comes to a Fantasy Premier League keeper who can earn points on a regular basis. His recent form may have suffered though with Vincent Kompany receiving a ban and on this occasion as well it would be a bit of risk to play him.
Defenders: too many to chose from
To be very honest, the wing back rule does not seem to apply to Manchester City when it comes to defenders as nearly anyone in the back four is just a big a threat to the opposition’s goal as the strikers.
In that spirit we would recommend either Micah Richards or Joleon Lescott who are both dominant in defensive and threats in attack, though at the same time any of the City back four who do.
Midfielders: David Silva and Yaya Toure
Yaya Toure is the type of player who seems to have been born for big matches. A true box to box midfielder, the City player has managed to amass an incredible 50 points in the season so far. He costs only 7.5-million and will be looking to leave his print on the match as well.
On the other hand, David Silva is the pivot of Manchester City’s attack and his 75 point so far this season are a testament to that. Whether or not Jamie Carragher, Daniel Agger or Martin Skrtel can keep the magician out is something we can only find out this Sunday.
Strikers: Sergio Aguero
Almost identical to how Luis Suarez plays is Manchester City’s goal scoring machine, Sergio Aguero. A constant threat with his head and both his feet, Aguero will prove to be a handful for the Liverpool defence. If managers have him in their team it is advised they keep him there.
Verdict: if managers are looking to make a transfer based on this fixture then Charlie Adam, Sergio Aguero and David Silva are the safest bets and if anyone has these players in their team then chances are they may stand to earn some points come the end of the weekend.
