Liverpool vs. Wolves – English Premier League – Minute by minute Report (Part 6)
The first half hour has passed but none of the teams have managed to impress the fans. None of the teams have scored as the match is still going on as a goalless draw.
Liverpool has been keeping most of the possession of the ball but Wolves have been good at the back. Fernando Torres is totally out of touch and he does not look to be the same old “goal scoring” Spanish striker.
David N’Gog is also acting like Torres. The Liverpool youngster is totally out of the game at the moment and he has got the ball only three times throughout the game.
Liverpool play the ball at the back and try to keep possession of the ball and even though they are trying their best to play that glorious long ball up front to find the back of the net they are just failing to do so as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 seem to have done their homework.
The Reds are trying to keep the pressure up but the way Wolves are playing at the moment it is definitely hard for Roy Hodgson’s men to do what they are trying.
Most of the game for Wolves is being concentrated on the wings as they are relying too much on the flanks.
On the other hand, Liverpool is trying to play long balls from the centre of the field but the Reds have barely gone in the 18 yard box.
Wolves got the ball right outside http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809’s 18 yard box.
It was David Edwards who had the opportunity to shoot the ball in but he decided to be unselfish and made a bad back pass which was received by Steven Gerard.
The captain fantastic rolled the ball in front towards Fernando Torres. The Liverpool number 9 made sure that he passes the ball this time but his pass was very lose and David N’Gog could not really be at the other end of it.
David N’Gog has often been coming back on the midfield as he is playing right behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707.
Torres finds the ball at his feet as Raul Meireles passes the ball towards him. The Spaniard makes a lovely pass to Steven http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gerard-c14664.
The Englishman plays the perfect ball in towards the running http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dirk-Kuyt-c11348 but the Dutchman cannot really do anything about it and Wayne Hennessey makes a fine save.
The ball is played towards Matthew Jarvis but he loses it and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-Meireles-c30678 gets the ball again. The Portuguese plays it towards David N’Gog on the left flank. The young Liverpool striker cuts in perfectly on the right foot and shoots the ball but it is
obstructed by Richard Stearman. It was a good effort but he could not find the back of the net with it.
The ball is then shot towards the Liverpool goal where http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-Reina-c29672 makes sure that he attends to it and takes a goal kick.
The Spaniard shoots it out wide towards Steven Gerard who is now playing on the right flank and Raul Meireles has switched places with him as he is in the midfield. Gerard moves the ball in and passes Fernando Torres but he misses out and a goal kick is
awarded to Wolves.
