Liverpool want Ashley Young and Chelsea want Javier Pastore - Premier League Gossip
Liverpool target Ashley Young
It had been previously rumoured that Liverpool were in the hunt for an Aston Villa player, it has been made clear that the team are now looking to sign Villa winger and attacking maestro, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Young-c6813. Young has gone on to delay his contract talks with Villa
and is reported to be looking for the exit door at the end of the season. The player was reported to be on the hot seat to make a move to Old Trafford, but it now seems like the Anfield based team are looking to capitalise on the situation and lure the player
to Merseyside.
Kenny Dalglish has been on the lookout for natural wingers and at the moment they don’t come more natural than Young. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international has often looked like a rather big fish in a rather small pond at Villa Park and it seems like he might finally
get his long awaited move to a bigger team.
However the fact that the player is looking to make the move to ensure Champions League football might come as a hindrance to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809’s plans, who have till the end of the season to make the last remaining qualification spots for Europe. Of course if they
do qualify, it would only make it a lot easier to land quality players in the summer, including Ashley Young.

It seems like Chelsea have realised that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082, the Argentine and Palermo midfield wizard, is worth all the hassle and will now be looking to make a move for the player in the summer. The Italian club’s president, Zamparini, has even gone on to place
a price tag on the player and is quoted to have said, "Until the end of season he will play for Palermo. Despite my interest for the club and player, I am already looking for his replacement. I feel it will be difficult for an Italian club to buy him. His
price is already high at €70million - he will move abroad."
Not only are those clear indications to the fact that Pastore is soon to be on his way out of Palermo, but it is also a clear sign that a bidding war is set to break out over the player in the near future. With the likes of Manchester City and Manchester
United being the other two parties involved in trying to secure the player’s services, the Italian side might just end up making a whole lot more than they had hoped for over the midfielder’s sale.
