Liverpool willing to off-load Milan Jovanovic
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 are reported to be willing to let go of a player, only six months after signing him. The player that the team is willing to let go of, is none other than Milan Jovanovic, who was brought into the side this past summer transfer window.
The player arrived at the club as a free transfer from the Belgian team, Standard Liege. However, the only reason the player decided to make the move to the Anfield based team was because he had struck up a deal with the former Liverpool manager, Rafael
Benitez.
But ever since his arrival at the club, the 29-year-old has only gone on to grow in frustration at the club and this is mostly due to the lack of opportunities the player has been given at the club. Roy Hodgson, who is now the new manager at Liverpool, has
gone on to state that he will be reviewing the players role at the club by January and after carefully analyzing the situation, he will decide what the future has in store for Jovanovic at Liverpool.
Although starting for the team a number of times in the Europa League, the Serbian international has only gone on to make four starts in the Premier League, the last of which was way back in September.
Despite having scored two goals in all the appearances that he has made for the team, it is being reported that the player will be allowed to leave the team for as little as three million pounds, to whoever is willing to make a move for the player.
The player has managed to attract a lot of attention from the likes of Cologne and Hamburg over the course of the last couple of weeks and so far the German Bundesliga is looking to be the more that probable destination for the player.
If an offer from either of those two teams was to come for the player, the Liverpool would be more than happy to let of a player, who is pretty much taking in around fifty thousand pounds a week for just sitting on the teams bench. As a result of the player’s
sale, the team might even actually end up inheriting some money which could be used to help bring in newer faces to the side at the turn of the year.
