pounds for the youngster’s services. The club’s director, Damien Comolli refuses to reveal the exact amount paid for the player.
He said, “On the fee, I've read and heard a lot of things. There was a lot of speculation on how much we would pay for Jordan and none of the figures I've seen are correct so far. We've paid a price that we are comfortable with; otherwise we would not have
done the deal.”
However, Damien Comolli believes that Henderson’s price tag is irrelevant. He claims that Liverpool signed the youngster because he is exactly the kind of player the team needs in the center of the park. Comolli heaped praise on the 20-year-old, and he believes
that Henderson will go on to become a star at Anfield in the future.
