Liverpool’s Jose Enrique has admitted that the Reds can finish in the top four, should they be able to maintain the momentum they have developed in recent weeks.

The team has started to win matches at a far more regular pace and the team is set to play in the Carling Cup finals, while still being in contention to win the FA Cup.

Enrique is amongst the numerous Liverpool players who has set finishing in the top four as a priority and has admitted that the way things are going, that seems like a very realistic task.
The Reds are currently sitting in the seventh spot, but the way the season has been going, they could easily find themselves in the fourth spot in a matter of weeks.
However, Enrique believes that the team needs to maintain their momentum and avoid getting over confident, if they are to stand any chance of making it into a Champions League spot.

Following a season where most of the team’s starting eleven was injured and with the Reds failing to finish off games, despite being in favourable positions to do so, it seems like the team is finally getting their act together.
