Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish, believes that Manchester United counterpart, Sir Alex Ferguson, has already drawn up plans on how to overcome http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in the UEFA Champions League final on May 28. The last time United squared up
against the Spanish Champions was in the 2009 final in Rome, a match which the Red Devils went on to lose 2-0.
Football fans around the world will be glued to their screens on Saturday to watch two giants of the football world battle it out for the Champions League title. Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish, will be one of them. The match promises
to go down to the wire, and even the bravest of pundits would be hard-pressed to pick a winner. While Kenny Dalglish has been reluctant to predict the outcome of the match, he admitted that Barcelona will have a slight edge over Manchester United.
Speaking on the upcoming Champions League final, the Reds boss said, "It is very difficult to judge how close it is going to be. Someone could be sent off in the first minute, someone could play fantastically well. Saturday is a huge game for both clubs.
Obviously Barcelona you would imagine would be favourites.”
However, the Scot believes that Sir Alex Ferguson might have a trick or two up his sleeve to shift the balance in his favour. Dalglish believes that Ferguson will have identified a few weaknesses in the seemingly unstoppable Spanish Champions, weaknesses
he will undoubtedly exploit in Satruday’s final.
Dalglish added, “They (Barcelona) will have to be stopped but they have been stopped. I am sure Fergie has recognised some chinks in their armour.”
With the Barclays Premier League season winding down to a close last week, Dalglish and his players can take some time to relax and watch two of the biggest clubs in the world battle it out for European glory.
The Scot concluded, “We can sit back and relax and watch it. It doesn't matter to us."
Under Dalglish’s guidance, Liverpool finished the 2010/11 Barclays Premier League in sixth place.
