stealing the headlines in recent weeks.
Torres has so far failed to adjust to life at Stamford Bridge. The Spaniard has not scored for the Blues since he joined the club almost two months ago. However, David Luiz is not having any such problems. The defender has produced a number of stellar performances

Luiz has scored two crucial goals for Chelsea since his arrival, putting http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 and his 50-million-pound transfer fee to shame. The former Benfica man is rapidly earning quite a name at Stamford Bridge, especially after his heroics against Manchester
City recently.
Many pundits have been left surprised with Luiz’s ability to adjust to the Premier League so quickly. However, Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva claims that he always expected his fellow Brazilian to do well with Chelsea.
Speaking on David Luiz’s impact at Stamford Bridge, Lucas said, “I've known David since I was maybe 19 years old and we used to play for the Under-20s together, and I am not surprised. I am really, really happy with the way he has arrived because I know
how difficult it is to adapt in the Premier League.”
He added, “He (Luiz) is already scoring a lot of goals and maybe people were not expecting this. And they have been important goals as well so I am happy with the way he is playing.”
With their recent victory against Manchester City, Chelsea moved up into third place in the Premier League standings. The Blues are 9 points adrift of League leaders Manchester United, though crucially, they still have a game in hand over their arch-rivals.
