Liverpool’s Luis Suarez to contest eight match ban
Liverpool striker and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Uruguay-c3035 international, Luis Suarez is set to contest his eight match ban and forty thousand pound find that has been imposed on him.
The player’s agent and lawyer, Alejandro Balbi went on to reveal that the forward was looking to launch an appeal in the near future and is hopeful his client will face a favourable outcome.
The ban and fine was imposed on the striker on Tuesday, some two months after he got into a confrontation with Manchester United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrice-Evra-c29231.
Evra went on to claim that Suarez blurred out racist comments towards the defender and based on those allegations, the striker was forced to face such a severe decision.
Nonetheless, the player’s agent along with his teammates and manager remain adamant over the fact that the forward has done nothing wrong and they would come out of their appeal with a very favourable result.
The player’s agent, when talking about his actions to overcome the situation is quoted to have said:  “The sanction has two items, the games' suspension and the monetary [fine]. It will be a total appeal”
“The counts of racism that were made against him are not true. He firmly believes that this harsh sanction can be overturned.”
He added that Suarez “is very affected” by the decision from the Football Association, but insists he is “calm because of the massive support of the club, the coach, his team-mates and his captain.”
Suarez has been performing brilliantly for Liverpool in recent weeks, but it seems like this ban had gotten to the players head. In his match last night, he seemed to be all over the place and couldn’t seen to concentrate on performing at his best.
Nonetheless, the striker’s ban is not going to imposed until a final verdict is delivered and hence there is still hope for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and Suarez in this matter.
What is most shocking about the whole ban, is the fact that it is based solely on Evra’s comments and not because something was spotted by the cameras or by the officials during the proceedings of the game.
