The Ajax Amsterdam playmaker has admitted that interest from English Premier League outfits is very pleasing, but has revealed that he is not thinking about leaving his current side at the moment.

The Danish midfield maestro has admitted that it is nice to hear about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 taking interest in acquiring his services. However, the 20-year-old has also made it clear that he has no plans to leave the Amsterdam giants at the moment.
“Liverpool? It is very nice that such a big club is interested in me. It is special to me, but I am not thinking about a transfer at this time”, Eriksen was quoted as saying to Tipsbladet.dk.
The promising midfield sensation, who started his professional career at Amsterdam Arena in the 2010/11 season, has been performing brilliantly week in week out.
Netting 15 goals while providing 31 assists thus far in over 50 league games, the midfield ace undoubtedly played an integral role in helping the Amsterdammers to claim back-to-back Eredivisie titles.
His consistent showings have garnered him interest from a host of elite European clubs including the likes of AC Milan, Juventus, Manchester United, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Bayern Munich, with Liverpool being the latest to express interest in luring the talented youngster away from Amsterdam Arena in the upcoming January transfer window.
With several clubs taking interest in signing Eriksen, it seems unlikely that the 20-year-old would be donning the jersey of Ajax in the next season.
However, the highly-talented midfielder has insisted that the Amsterdammers’ achievements this term will determine his stay at Amsterdam Arena.
“My future? At the moment we don’t know. It all depends on what happens this season”, Eriksen concluded.
The Danish international has an ongoing contract at Ajax that runs until the summer of 2014. However, reports indicate that the Amsterdammers management would be offering the midfield maestro an extension to his current contract in the coming weeks.
