  1. That name is beautiful! I love the uniqueness in the names. Especially taking the O away from Olivia. If the father isn't involved, I think you should just pick the name yourself. Congrats on your baby girl :)

  2. Livia Joy.  So pretty.  Congratulations and best wishes to you and Livia.

  3. Cute name for your little girl! :)

  4. livia joy is a cute name. :) what about emma grace or ava marie?

  5. i love livia joy.

im going to name my daughter joy :)

but yea my dad wasnt around when my mom was pregnant with my  youngest brother [4 weeks old]  so my mom picked out his name with no input from him. why let him choose a name when he hasnt been with you?

    congrats :)

  6. Very Pretty

    xx

  7. absolutely its fine to pick the name on your own!!!!!

    Livia! thats SOOOOOOO cute!!!

  8. olivia, Livia, Alivia are all the same

  9. Beautiful names! Also if she's going to be exclusively yours, as he only feels he has to turn up to make sure his name goes on her birth certificate or to claim some sort of right to her...then it's your choice.

    Good luck!

  10. You know what, I don't like the name Olivia, but it's really cute without the 'O'!!

Yes, just pick the name on your own.  You're the one carrying her and you're going to raise her, it sounds like, so there's no reason he should have veto power.

  11. I like it...you could call her Liv for a nickname. With Johnson being such a common last name, I think Livia is a great name for that last name! I think if the father isn't involved and making things harder, you do have the right to just pick your own name for the baby.

  12. I prefer the original-- Olivia.  I don't think taking the O off makes it "unique" at all.... a lot of people do that.  I think it just makes it more difficult for others' to spell (especially at school, on forms--ie medical, etc).  Olivia Joy is gorgeous though!! Good luck!

  13. Livia Joy is fine on its own, but if you're going to use her middle name a lot, "Livia Joy Johnson" sounds kinda funny. Doesn't it?

I also don't really think it's right to not take the father's input into account, especially if he is going to be present in the child's life. From what you say, it sounds like he's around, and this little girl is going to be his, too.

  14. Very, Very cute! I think I prefer Livia to Olivia, just a little different but a lot cuter! Joy is a very sweet and suitable middle name.

As far as the daddy goes...right now he is being difficult so no need to involve him. If he comes around in a few months and you are already set on a name you should still use it. If he comes around and you are still unsure, then you can decide if you want his input.

Congratulations and best wishes to you!

  15. Livia Joy is a beautiful name....and like my grandmother always says

    " Mamas baby, Father's maybe"

  16. It's adorable. =) And, you have the right to pick a name for your baby by yourself. It's your baby, after all. Livia Joy Johnson is really cute!

  17. Livia is cute

  18. Livia Joy Johnson sounds like a beautiful name! I do believe that if he's acting careless and being selfish about the pregnancy, you should do what you have to do and what you need to do. If he won't take responsibility then you have the right to do what you choose - including the baby's name. I wish the best of luck and much happiness :)
