  1. generally project managers in construction industry get paid around 30k  - 40K AED per month here, inclusive of all benefits (accomodation, basic salary, utilities & local travel allowances, etc). However it all depends on your GCC / local experience. So you can ask in that range. moreover there is a trend of giving just double the salary of what you curretly draw in your home country. So it just depends on your company.

Living costs are too high here. 1Bedroom apartment is at an avergae of AED 100K per annum. In dubai you have to pay rent for full year in advance (1 cheque or up to 3 cheques out of which 1st is current dated and remaining are post dated cheques). So ask your company whether they would assist you in this regards. Companies give a loan to new employees, ie they will issue cheques on your behalf and then make monthly deductions.

    Hope this helps

  2. you need to expand then invest your yearly salary but not spend more than a quarter of the wages

  3. It depends from company to company and the nationality of the employee. The salary range is usually between 20K - 40K for project managers. Try to secure accommodation. It is the most expensive thing in the emirates. Rest all expenses will be reasonable and on par with your country of origin.

Bachelors generally spend around AED 500 - 800 on food.

Then you have transportation expenses. Taxis are expensive and it all depends on how far your office is from your residence. Public Transport is economical but bus service is bad.

Clothing and Miscellaneous expenses will be on par with Malaysia.

All the best for the interview.

  4. hello!one who is eng. his salary must be in lakhs.
