Living and studying in NY?

Question

well im comming to NY most prolly to live in broklyn or longisland for the rest of ma life ..yeah im migrating to US from pakistan... well and yeah im nt a terrorist ...:S well i just wanted to ask u guys few questions abt NY as im comming at an age where i wud love to study as have just graduated from a high skewl and want to be a financial analyst .. ma family aint that good in the finances and just abt cant apply to collages here as i need to spend 12th months in NY b4 i can be fully US citizen ...in the mean time after 3 months il be getting ma social security number or so.. can i get job dat can pay me off 1000$ per months to work full time for like 8-9 months straight at just abt any where i mean starbiks.,mcdonalds or even a gas station.. so that i can go to a community collage and then after sum good grades transfer to some good 4 year university...ppl plz help me out in this !
