  1. If you make friends maybe you can stay over when there are wild parties that you don't want to miss!

  2. if the problem is with your parents (if they wont want you to go out) then talk to them and tell them that your a grown man now, and you'd like to go out anytime without having to report to them.

so i think you should just go out and have fun living at home isnt a bad thing all the time!

  3. Everything you say about living at home is true.

Living at home has an upside that may change your mind. Home cooked meals while other students live on spam and baked beans as a staple diet.

The sheer cost of living away from home and having to worry about money all the time. If you are at home your parents will see what you need and help you out. If you are at university you'll have to keep asking and that can become tiresome to the point you'll not ask and do without.

Family life is precious and if you have a good family who loves you they will allow you the time and space to study and go out with friends.

Many of the students who live on campus and get drawn into all the social life fail or don't do well. It's difficult to keep up the pace that some of them have for reckless living. You would be better academically if you were not too involved in this sort of lifestyle.

Some students seem to have endless amounts of cash or living it up and you'll pressure yourself to keep up and to keep your studies going.

Join in, its what you need to do. But go home to a loving home and a hot meal at the end of the day and count yourself lucky.

  4. My first year in college i had to live at home. Unfortunatly i feel that because of this i didnt get to meet as many people. The next year i joined some clubs and getting involved. Have fun.

  5. You can still have fun at college even though you live at home. Try to get involved with clubs and organizations on campus. Getting involved will help you meet people and stay involved; therefore, having a good time. Your first year of college won't be that hard so you should have plenty of time to get involved an make friends.

Yes college parties are fun and you should try to get in some nights out even though you live at home. But college can be fun even without the late nights, just try to get involved.
