Living cost in Abu Dhabi...?

Hi,

I got an offer of Dhs.22000 per month in Abu dhabi & I would like to move with my wife. Is the salary enough to pay for a decent 1 BHK flat and for a good living..?

My 2 cents - Depends on your lifestyle. Your average monthly expenses could be in the range of AED10,000 to 15,000.

If you have schooling kid, would be more.

Aim to save more. I think AED22000 should be enough for decent lifestyle in Abu Dhabi.

The Salary package you got is a good one and hopefully it will be enough for you to live with your family here in Abu Dhabi. The cost of rent for a 1BHK apartment will be somewhere around ADE 80,000(min) p.a. and you will need to pay it completely in advance now,(sometimes 2 / 3 payments will be available) and depends on the location and building.

House hold expenses (including traveling ) vary depending upon your spending nature. For 2 people moderate spending will cost AED 2500 per month
