Living expenses in Riyadh??

Hi all.. I will be coming to Riyadh in October.. Got a job offer.. Being a bachelor how much monthly expenses I can expect? I would be requiring accommodation and everything.

Accomandation : Minimum - 300~500/- SAR (As per ur choice)

Food : 250 SAR (Minimum)

Telephone Call to Ur Country : Its depend up to u ( But my advice to you do not call more than 300 SAR )

.....you'll spend one month for everything approximately SR800 to SR8,000....it depends on your lifestyle and want. If you want a minimum you'll spend SR800 and if you want to live a comfortable extravagant life you can spend SR8,000 a month or more.......

It really depends on you and your lifestyle.  You can get by on very little or you can spend a lot.

For example, if you cook at home, you can save a lot of money.  If you eat in Saudi restaurants rather than American fast food chains, then you can save a lot of money.  (5-6 riyals vs. 15-20 riyals)

Rents vary based on where you want to live in the city and of course how nice the place is, so it's hard to give an estimate.

since u r single:

Accomodation: share a flat with friends if u know, or have a small flat, a small flat rent (800-1200 SR/month).

Dailiy living, billing and dining out: 700-1000 (moderately)

Transportation: depending on taxi is no recommended, it's too expensive (10SR/trip as minimum), buying a small car is recommended since the fuel is so cheap.
