Living in Nottingham City Centre???

Question

Does anyone live in the centre of Nottingham? My partner and I are thinking of buying an appartment/flat right in the city centre because we just love Nottingham so much but would like some advice from people who do/have lived there. Thanks :)

The town centre isn't that bad at all don't worry.

Its nice and local to everything, obviously.

The lace markets particularly nice you could try there.. however, personally i wouldn't go for vic centre.. its awful!

Nottingham is heavily populated by students and the city center is a lively and noisy area every night.

If you're into that and don't need sleep then it's ideal.

Used to stay with friends that lived in a flat at the vic centre. Nott'm is a lively place, just make sure you buy a flat in the right area at the right price, as there are some bad places. Do your homework.
