Is it alright to live with a host family that aren't related to me ? I applied for a private high school in their county. Oh and is it legal to live without guardians present with us? I mean as long as they sign our hospital and emergency papers, we're fine?

  1. Of course it's OK. Foreign exchange students do this all the time. Your parents will sign a power of attorney before you leave your home country releasing you from them to your host family. It's done all the time.
