Living in the UK ?

Im from Australia and am thinking of moving to the UK next year for a year or two

I'm thinking up north or around Newcastle most likely?

What's it like to live there?

Are Australians well liked also? lol

The people are quite friendly and enjoy a pint or two, they like their football.  Unfortunately the weather is horrific.  Austrailians get a good reception pretty much all over the UK and are known for having a good work ethic.

Come over your love it, we certainly will love you, I have found Australians are lovely to work with and party with.

You will find Newcastle a little cold weather wise, but they make up for it in friendliness.

I hope you enjoy UK as much as I enjoyed Oz.

I would recommend the north west rather than the north east , try my home county of Cumbria ( the lake district ) very beautiful area and full of old English charm. Australians are well liked over here, i work with one and he is a great blloke with a great sense olf humour so come on over and enjoy yourself.
