If anyone is making or know what is like to eran this amount give me an idea of what you can afford like a car possible, and living in just a regular flat with roomates. Also, this is approx take home 1500 a month and what would the average person likely spend of this?

  1. Cost of living in Greater London.

If you rent a modest room in a shared house this will cost between £400 and £700 per month including bills (provided you don't want to live in Chelsea).  The location and quality of the place you live will have a large effect on the price (check www.gumtree.co.uk for vacant rooms and house shares) Most places need at least 1 month deposit and 1 months rent in advance)

Worst case that leaves you with £800 per month for food, phone, car, entertainment and misc.

Most people who live in London use public transport as this is more practical than driving as parking can be expensive and tricky (also if you drive in central London there is a congestion charge of £10 per day)

If you are a social animal then you are not going to have much left at the end of the month - but if you are frugal you may be able to save a few hundred pounds per month

In Summary - you wont be living the high life but you can afford it on £25,000.
