  1. No. There was a lot of talk about that in the 1960s and it all just faded away like future cities on the Moon did.

  2. Yes, but you would have to wait for a while to go back on the surface or DCS (decompression sickness) could result. It would probably be expensive and unnecessary.

  3. No - there will always be the problem with going back to the surface with less air pressure causing decompression sickness due to excess nitrogen dissolved in body tissues.

  4. YES!!!  Shun the non-believer!  Maybe, but it would be complicated...

  5. Yea sure eventually you will be able to live underwater,  the technology isn't just perfect yet.

  6. Obviously, is the best answer, underwater domes and cities are all so possible, but also so pointless. We are Air Species and whilst H2O is a mixture of Oxygen and Hydrogen, it does not have enough Oxygen for our daily life intake. The world may be currently dying from immense Co2 overtake, however G8, the UN and other powerful forces and countries are dedicated to making a different and by 2050, its a Global Target to make the world over 80% renewable such as Wind Electricity, Solar Electricity, Bio and Thermal Heating.

The worlds currently got the Flu, its our job to heal it.

But never would I suggest living underwater.

  7. i actually think so. but i'm not saying that the person who thinks we can't live underwater is wrong.

  8. It's not very practical for long-term living, but there are some underwater hotels under development for people who would like to spend a vacation underwater (see links).
