  1. make a list and keep it in a safe place.........

this isn't a wish list but a set of goals........

at 61 i see that i should have made more time to travel and for recreation, made more family time, done more for others

if you decide to write down your goals,,,,,,,include these items as part of them.........these are the most important,,,,,,,,

    not the material stuff

  2. I often wake up just happy to be alive...I am not sure if that is healthy, if one should think like that though. My reasons come from traumatic experiences.

Anyways, I do think that one should strive to be unafraid of death though. Don't expect it or try and figure how much time you have but try not to fear it.

Sometimes we get so paralyzed by the thought of death and how much time we have, that we don't get anything meaningful accomplished. I try not to fear it and to be okay if it happens tommorow...while at the same time, looking forward to another day.

I think that when we die, we find out that the greatest things that we did, were things we didn't view as accomplishments, we were just being ourselves.

Ugh, this is too deep for a Monday morning! ;)

  3. I don't really live my life like that =/

I prefer to do what I enjoy for now and get around to those other experiences later in life. So, if I die tomorrow, I'll rest assured that I died being happy =P

I get the most out of life by spending it with the ones I love and trying something new and exciting at least once every couple of weeks.

I think everyone should go skydiving once in their lifetime, it looks fun.
