Former Gunner, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Freddy-c14144 Ljungberg has gone on to claim that Arsenal are getting better with time and are looking much sharper than they did a few seasons ago.
The forward went on to make over three hundred appearances for the North London club, in the nine years that he spent with them and even went on to pick up two Premier League titles with the club.
Despite leaving the team, he has gone on to reveal that he still goes on to watch just about every http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 game that he can find time to view.
Ljungberg also believes that the team is now more than capable of breaking their trophy drought, having gone seven years without picking one up.
He feels the young players have finally grown up and are now more than capable of causing problems against any opposition.
The former Gunner is quoted to have said: "Arsenal is a big part of my life. I’m there quite often and live in London, so it’s important to me.”
"I still keep in touch with my old team-mates, too. We’re all great friends, and I actually saw http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jens-Lehmann-c18297 down in Munich recently. Most of us still talk a lot to each other.”
"I enjoy watching the current team – it’s a young side and will hopefully get better and better. With the addition of one or two good signings, things look bright."
This past season, Arsenal seemed like they were finally breaking free of their title of being too young and inexperienced. The team went on to finish third, in a season where many believed they might finish well out of the top six.
They also went on to win nine games in a row, which says a lot about their character and strength.
Despite Ljungberg pointing out that the team needs to make one or two more signings, it is believed that Arsene Wenger has a plan on just who he wants to bring in this term and following the capture of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 and Olivier Giroud, the manager is now
intent on bringing in around three to four more players.
