  1. it all depends what you want if it is a stag or hen party or a bunch of lads out for a good time same for girls also it is great. but if you are a family requiring a nice quite holiday it may not be your thing. generally though it is quite pleasant and a good beach. some of the hotels are a bit tacky down to age etc. conclusion I would go again and I  AM 65


  2. It's a dump full of poor quality Hotels, Stag & Hen do's and worse then Blackpool

  3. I have been to lloret for a week, and honestly speaking it was okay....

    It really depends on what you are after, if its a buzzing nightlife etc, you are better off going to Palma Nova which is next to Magaluf or Ibiza

    But if its a quiet week with some shopping thrown in, then lloret is the place.  There are loads of tourist shops and a few pubs but not in a concentrated strip like others mentioned.

    The beach is nice but very crowded.

    Where ever you go... enjoy!

  4. I live quite near to Lloret de Mar. It all depends on when you're going and what kind of holiday you're after. It's a good place to go if you want a cheap, lively holiday with everything nearby and a great beach. If you prefer something quieter then it's not the place for you. Along the main beach there are lots of pubs and clubs and for a student or someone wanting a good time then it's perfect. Out of season it's like any seaside resort, at the end of september it starts to wind downm and you can find that they are 'packing up' around you. One of the good things about Lloret is that it's pretty near to Barcelona, there's a great waterparck nearby and the train service along the coast is excellent if you want explore a little.

  5. It's excellent, went there for a hen weekend and loved it.

    You're close enough to Barcelona to do a bit of sightseeing, theres a water park, never went there but from what i've heard its good, lovely beach, lovely places to eat, good clubs/bars, just a really good holiday!
