Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris says that he is ready for life at White Hart Lane, and is prepared to fight for the number 1 jersey.

Tottenham went through a period of transition over the summers, where the club appointed a new manager and saw major squad changes.
The North London outfit acquired Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 and Rafael Van Der Vaart.
The club later bought Fulham midfield duo Moussa Dembele and American international Clint Dempsey. Both players were then joined by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Lloris-c16408 in a high profile deadline day move.
Tottenham look set to compete on all fronts with an impressive squad and a manager out to prove a point. However, things are not looking good at the moment as the club is still without a win in the Premier League.
Villas-Boas will be hoping to secure his first three points as Tottenham manager this weekend as the club travels to the Madejski Stadium to face Reading, who are also anxiously awaiting their first win in the league.
Hugo Lloris has been the talk of tabloids and football websites as the player was understood to be unhappy about his situation at the club. It is understood that the French shot stopper was bought as a long term replacement for current keeper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brad-Friedel-c7953,
who is nearing retirement.
However, with the performances the American goalkeeper has put it so far, Villas-Boas said at a press conference that there was no way Lloris would replace Friedel without proving his worth first.
Lloris was set to hold talks with his new manager upon his return from international duty, and is now ready to fight for his place in the starting line up.
The 25-year old said:
"Peacefully, I enjoyed both games with the national team and will now discover another world, another championship, another mentality.”
"It's all positive so I will have to get to know my team-mates, the staff and I will try to work as best as possible. There is a lot for me to prove in a new league, but I will work and earn success."
