Lloris arrived on the last day of transfer deadline to White Hart Lane. And since his arrival, it was widely anticipated that the French international would replace veteran, Brad Friedel, as the team’s first-choice goalkeeper. However, that is not the case.
Friedel is still preferred by manager, Andre Villas Boas as the No. 1 goalkeeper for Tottenham Hotspur that’s justified by his recent performances.

The French national team manager, Didier Deschamps, has a different opinion regarding the whole situation. He believes that Friedel is past his age, and is a veteran who should be considering retirement.
While Lloris is the present and the future of not only the French team but potentially of Tottenham as well. However, Lloris’ treatment by the management disappoints him and he has pointed out a few questions to AVB regarding the placement of Hugo Lloris.
Moreover, French press has been pressuring Lloris as well to hand in the transfer request, if he’s not provided a position in the starting line-up.
The former Lyon goalkeeper believes that he needs to talk to the manager. His stay at the White Hart Lane depends upon the response from the manager and whether should he hand over a transfer request in January or not.
