  1. All banks are lousy. The treatment you get depends more on the branch manager than the name of the bank.

The trouble is they are too big and there are too few of them. Also their performance and therefore the huge bonuses their top people get every year, is assessed on their increase in  profit, not on the quality of service they give. In other words, their incentive is to s***w you.  My advice is to patronise the smallest bank you can find.

  2. Natwest definetly! Lloyds are AWFUL. I hate Lloyds, everything about them is awful, stay away from them!!!

  3. Natwest

  4. Natwest by far. I've had accounts with both Lloyds (opened and closed) and Natwest (for over 13 years now). Natwest have the best deals, customer service, branch availability, functionality and best of all, local call centres.

  5. Im a student. Natwest s***w you over the first chance they get.  Lloyds TSB are ok with you if you are ok with them, they warn you before they charge anything so its your fault if you ignore it. Natwest are sneaky and just take it off you, you then end up having to ask them why and you never get it back no matter what your argument is.

If it has to be one of them, trust me Lloyds TSB are nicer, but keep on top of it.
