  1. I'm not entirely sure of what you are asking here, but I will try to answer.

One of the longest periods of time to build a ship that I am aware of, concerned the Dutch passenger liner "Wilhelm Ruys", she was laid down just before ww2, but after the German occupation of Holland,  the Germans wanted her completed to use as a troopship, but with numerous acts of sabotage and delays , she was not completed until after the war ended and finally sailed on her maiden voyage in 1947

  2. 2 hours...........???

  3. Could you edit your question, please?

Are you asking how long it would take once you have put an order in to a boat builder?  Or how long it would take to build one yourself?

Are you talking about a steel narrow boat?  Bespoke fit-out?

What time of year do you want to take delivery because builders can usually deliver faster during the winter months as everyone wants their new boat for the Spring.

From experience with the guy who built my boat, I would think that 3 months might be a good estimate, quicker if you are able to accept an off-the-shelf fit out or a standard with few mods depending on available build slots
