I used this this product on my hair: Loreal Superior Preference 81/2A Champagne Blonde. Here is what it was suppossed to look like:

But instead, it turned out a little LIGHTER than this:

I want to dye it again, if I use the same product [ supeior preference ] will it turn out lighter/blonder? Or do I need to use a different box?

Also, I am a VERY competitive swimmer, and I start year round swimming next week. I will be swimming every day after school, plus Saturday mornings. Will the chlorine in the water affect the color? Or should I dye it back to it's natural color [[ light brown ]] ?

Comments are greatly appreciated :)

  1. If you want to go blond it's best to go to the salon if your unexperienced in  DIY hair colouring, they will answer questions about how to get the colour right.

Chlorine may turn your hair green! Wear a rubber swimming cap or use a special shampoo designed for use after swimming, you can usually get it in the chemist.

Remember too much dying in a short period of time can make hair weak and dry.

  2. I AM WARNING YOU TO GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!!! THAT IS YOUR BEST OPTION UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HAIR FCKED UP & CONSIDERING YOU SWIM THAT IS NOT A GOOD CHOICE!
