LoL This Is Kind oif a weird question..?

What would happen if i put nail polish on my hamsters nail? LoL Not that im going to do it (its nearly impossible since she moves so much) but im just wondering what would happen. Is it dangerous?

I don't know any thing about hamsters, but my wife put nail polish  on our dogs all the time.

You'd have a dead hamster.  Not only is the stuff poisonous for them to ingest (remember, hamsters chew stuff and clean themselves by l*****g), but the fumes would be really hard on her tiny lungs.  And even if you miraculously managed to get the nail polish on just the nails instead of all over her, a hamster's nails are so small that you could barely tell anyway.
