Loach approach rejected by Watford

Tottenham Hotspur have had an offer for Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach turned down by the Championship club. Spurs were believed to have tabled a loan deal for the England under 21 stopper, with a view to a permanent £2 million transfer in the summer, but Watford were unwilling to accept such a deal. A backup goalkeeper to Heurelho Gomes remains a priority for Harry Redknapp though.
