Loaded Dice to take charge of the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy on 27th February
The Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy will be held on Monday, 27th February at Nottingham over 305 metres flat. The six hounds that the race has attracted will battle for the £150 prize money.
The lineup of the race includes Monleek Sloopy, Skane Meadows, Bradgate Star, Defi Quest, Demesne Trotter and Loaded Dice.
The hound with the strongest credentials is Loaded Dice, Hondo Black’s four-year-old black son out of b***h Riverside Trixie. The dog has raced five times during the 2012 season, out of those he has won thrice and has taken up the runner up’s slot twice.
Loaded Dice won the Coral Sprint on 5th January at Hove raced over 285 metres. He raced through the track distance in 16.50 seconds, leading by ¾ of a length. The 5/4 favourite of the race, Me Buddy, was fourth after the winner and took 16.61 seconds to race across the wire.
On 23rd January, Loaded Dice won a 475 metres race at Hove by covering the track distance in 28.41 seconds and was in lead of 2 ¼ lengths. Riverside Amber was the runner up for the race.
After taking the runner up’s position at Hove and then at Romford, Loaded Dice won the Gala Coral 475 – Dup on 19th February at Hove. All the three 9/4 collective favourites took up the first three positions in the race.
Loaded Dice went through the track distance in 28.36 seconds while Young Vicarious who was at a distance of 2 ¼ lengths, made it to the wire in 28.54 seconds.
Third in line behind the winner of the race was Pams Alan who reached the other end of the wire in 28.56 seconds.
In case Loaded Dice maintains the level of performance that he has delivered through the new season then he is the expected threat on the lineup tonight and will make it to the fourth victory of the season.
Monleek Sloopy, trained by David Pruhs is also one of those hounds who has very recently added a victory to the record. The three-year-old won a Grade A1  420 metres race on 15th February at Peterborough. He was through the wire in 25.54 seconds and led by 1 ½ lengths.
Monleek Sloopy was the 2/1 joint favourite of the race.
