  1. Most women ovulate around 2 weeks (14 days) after the fist day of your period. So if your next period starts on the 25th of Sept, your ovulation day should be on or around the 9th of Oct. Since you can only get pregnant within 24hours of ovulation it's best to have s*x on the 8th 9th and 10th of Oct.

  2. It's going to sound trite, but try when you feel it is the right time. As for the logistics of the situation:

    - on AVERAGE, women will ovulate on day 14 of a 28 day cycle. Your cycle begins the day of your period (the actual flow...if you're spotting and don't need a pad or tampon, don't count it as your first day).

    - You need to have s*x as close to ovulation as possible. Your body will give you signs that you're going to ovulate. You might have a pain on one side.

    - The biggest sign for ovulation is stretchy cervical fluid that resembles raw eggwhites. When you see this fluid (ewcm for short), have s*x each day until it's gone. Once it's gone, you can assume you've ovulated.

  3. Most women ovulate 2 weeks after the first day of their last period.  I would say around Sept. 8 -13.  Your best bet is to have s*x everyday!!

  4. Depending on how long your cycle is, you will ovulate about day 14 (That is for a 28 day cycle)  You want to have intercourse BEFORE ovulation, as you want the sperm in your fallopian tubes before your actually ovulate.

I highly recommend the Clearblue Fertility monitor, or the cheaper Clearblue digital Ovulation predictor kit.  Both of these will let you know when you are about to ovulate, that way you can time intercourse perfectly.

If you do not want to use ovulation predictors, it is safe to say that having intercourse every other day will keep ya pretty much covered.

    Best of luck to you!!

  5. Basically if you are not charting your temps and CM you will have no way of knowing when you ovulate...so according to my dr you should try daily from when you end your period until you start again.  If your husband has fertility issues than you should try every other day to give his swimmers a chance to replenish themselves.

I recommend the book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility.  It is full of usefull info and you can learn to chart.
