Loading .N64 save file on project 64 emulator??

Question

i have a project 64 emulator and Zelda: ocorina of time and i downloaded a save file from the internet and i dont know how to open it.

(if i go to properties it says that it is a .N64 file)

That is strange that the save files are .N64, my save files are these: mpk, pj, eep, sra and fla and they load up fine, maybe it was a dodgy file.
