Loads of Green Flies Flys in my bedroom?? why?

I just noticed that there are loads of green flies in my bedroom. They look strange, they are not like the common normal fly. They are in between the end of the carpet and the wall and in the corners of my ceiling. I dont know why or how they have come. As I said they are not the common black fly. They are smaller and green. They are found in between the end of the carpet on my floor and the wall and in the corners of my ceilings. Please help, im worried they r poisonous or something, how can i get rid of them?
