Local Dee Jay likely to prevail in The Ladbrokes Standard Division 2
Local Dee Jay is likely to dominate proceedings in the The Ladbrokes Standard Division 2 at Hall Green in England on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. The prize money for the Grade OR event has been set as £500.
The 480 metres flat race will start at 20:15 GMT and six quality hounds have lined up for action. Their names are as follows: Local Dee Jay, Maireads Hawk, Jaytee Ray, Money Ball, Supreme Garrick and Swan Storm.
The race favourite dog, Local Dee Jay, has been in terrific form over the past few events and is expected to be highly competitive at Hall Green today. There is a lot of consistency in his performances, which is one of his major strengths. This is
why the bookies have given him the best odds for today’s race.
The K. Findlay’s trained dog took part in a trial run at Hall Green and finished second in it. Afterwards, he also competed in a Grade OR event, but failed to make an impression that time around, finishing at the bottom of the table. He was up against
some very good runners back then, but will be a lot more comfortable in today’s race.
Local Dee Jay is the son of Hallucinate out of Local Mol and was born in May 2008. He has got plenty of experience and will make life difficult for his rivals.
Another runner, who can win the race at Hall Green, is Maireads Hawk. He might be a touch rusty, as he has mostly taken part in trial events and there is a doubt over his racing form. Due to this, the punters might be discouraged to risk money in his
favour today.
The C. Allsopp’s trainee finished third in his previous outing, thus he might not have the momentum to finish on top of the table at Hall Green. He is the son of Westmead Hawk out of Greenwell Puma and was born in December 2009.
Other than the top two favourites, Jaytee Ray will also be fighting for victory, as he seems to be in good rhythm at the moment whereas the rest of the participants are likely to struggle.
