Local Dee Jay to jazz his way to victory in the Ladbrokes.Com 480 (Division 2) at Monmore on 15th March
Monmore will stage the second division of the Ladbrokes.Com 480 over 480 metres on Thursday, 15th March. The lineup for the race tonight comprises of Penrhiw Guto, A For Albert, Local Dee Jay, Graigues Orchard, Rayvin Again and White Coat.
Most accomplished and with highly steadfast credentials is Local Dee Jay, Hallucinate’s four-year-old black son out of b***h Local Mol. He has been out six times ever since the season shot off and has credited four races against his name as victories and
has been placed third in the two remaining.
Local Dee Jay did not start off with racing right away, he worked out thrice before going out for his seasonal debut. They started over 380 metres hurdle at Crayford twice to 273 metres hurdle at Wimbledon.
His seasonal debut ended with him winning over the 462 metres at Yarmouth on 23rd January, distance that he settled in 27.76 seconds with six lengths under his belt. The runner up for the race was Kinda True.
On 28th January he was the 5/4 favourite winner of the Grade IR Betdaq Premier League Round 2 Leg 5 Standard B at Yarmouth over 462 metres. He reached the other end of the wire in 27.99 seconds and took charge of the field by three lengths.
Kilmore Say Go was the runner up while Frankbrunosbro concluded third.
He took a break to work out at Henlow this time over 277 metres on 2nd February. It was not the most rewarding break as his attempt right after that saw him finishing third in the Voicenet Mini Stayers at Henlow over 550 metres on 7th
February. The race was won by the evening’s favourite, Aero Majestic.
The next two racing ventures that he undertook were successful.
On 18th February, he won a 483 metres race at Doncaster. He took 29.73 seconds to time the distance and led by one and a half length. Coolavanny Pedro was the runner up of the race.
Last time that he won was in the Grade IR Betdaq Premier League Final Round Leg 5 Standard B at Doncaster over 483 metres. The 4/7 favourite of the race was done in 29.91 seconds while leading by 6 ¾ lengths. Graigues Chief followed closely behind and ended
up as the runner up.
Finishing third in the last start does not indicate his lack of potential for getting this fur added in his cap.
