Local Knowledge - Luxembourg ?

Question

I have a morning to spare in Luxembourg before an afternoon guided tour, any suggestions on a great place to hang around and browse for four hours? With a local place to enjoy lunch? The tour will already cover Place d'Armes and Old Town so I would rather browse another area.

If the weather is nice, the valley of the Petruse.

This is a big park in the middle of town, with many steps, terraces and other places to sit.

In it is also the 'cave' system that was used for the defense of the town, back in the old days.

I always enjoyed it.

You can visit the fortress if you are not claustrophobic, I was there with my husband and my friend, it was great!
