Local and global winds are set in motion by air moving in convection cells. Describe the motion of air in a convection cell. Be sure to include direction of air movement and relative temperature of the moving air.

warm air rises, following the path of least resistance i.e. if it hits a pocket of dense cold air it may shift horizontally before continuing upward.
