Local area Connection?

We recently hooked up a modem and we have "NO" Local Area Connection tab in the "Control Panel" "Connection tab" it's just blank. How can we get it again?

  1. well if you go to network connections it should be there if its not there, your LAN is not physically connected to the computer if it is, it doesnt have the proper driver if it has the proper drivers and it doesnt work, then enable it on the device manager, if all of this doesnt work, then make sure ur LAN is properly connected to the computer if it is! then its faulty!


  2. you need to load the driver for your network card.
