Question:

Local cable at $52 package way too high; what would one consider with getting a satellite dish service?

Not a great television watcher. Mainly interested in college football. How does the satellite dish renting work? Are its prices lower than cable? Would be grateful for any factors answers think need consideration with a satellite compared to cable. The local cable, do not know why have a monopoly, really does not offer much. Do not have digital televisions.

  1. SAT service is cheaper. 52.00 you pay for cable, I'm guessing that about 5-7$$ is tax. about 39.00 or less for the similar service on SATV  No such tax on SATV except some local sells tax for the box rental.  That would be tax on 4.99.

    Check out Dish Network and Directv they both have good service packages.  Read the fine print ALWAYS
