Local education authority grant = Grant that I have applied at student finance.gov.uk?

I have applied a student grant for university through the studentfinance.gov.uk. Does this mean it is a local education authority grant?

If the application is being delt with by www.studentfinancedirect.co.uk, then it will be passed from them to the relavent LEA who will sort it out for you. The website you posted doesn't exist (or is down at least), so I don't know if it's the same as the studentfinancedirect one.
