Well a friend is looking for her Ex-husband and he is in the army. She needs to find him because he never signed up their kid for insurance under his name. Whenever she calls anyone they wont tell her anything. Though i know for a fact this is looked down upon b/c he needs to Support his kid. She knows his rank and his social security number but she doesnt know how to find where he is stationed.

And my question is if ANYONE has any information on how to get ahold of maybe his commanding officer or anything at all.

Thanks :)

  1. Well there are very degrees in what you are talking about....but i would have to say that the husband is responsible for this action....i know he is for child support and well the court has to decide if he has to pay for the childs medical expenses...if the court says no...then don't even try but if the court say that he must have health insurance then you have a case....other then that well not sure....more info e-mail me a christopher.surface@opco.com

  2. Have her contact her Congress person...

They will find him within Hours...

His not supporting his Children is a Criminal Offense in the Military...

Sounds like a Medical Emergency to me...

She can also contact the Red Cross and

they will locate him within Hours...

  3. no they wont tell her anything because she is not his wife not because he has a child, they wont give out that info. you can see if someone in the army will look him up on ako. but it wont always work depends on if he keeps it updated.

  4. she needs to get with a lawyer..and have the lawyer find him..the army will cooperate with a lawyer faster then they would an ex-wife..and since she does have his social security number and stuff like that the law can find him...

  5. Type his name into white pages.  I find a lot of people that way.  Also does this guy not want to be found?  She could email him, but if he is not willing to respond then its useless.

Most army email address are firstname.lastname@us.army.mil, so are obviously different cause joe.smith@us.army.mil would apply to more than one person.

If you can figure out what duty station he is at I would call the post Inspector General, you can find his number online.  If you can't find his post, then call any Inspector General, they are great to work with and will usually bend over backwards for you.

  6. Does she know where he is stationed?  Or where he was stationed before?  She might be able to find him that way.  Maybe she knows some of his friends that are still in.  If she can find out where he is stationed and call his company commander than maybe she can get something done.

  7. she needs a court order stipulating that he is required to enroll the kids in DEERS and provide  Tricare Prime and Dental.

  8. Contact the IG, be ready to prove that the child is in fact his give them his SS#, is there a child support order if so send it tothem as well they will track him down and have his command make him follow the regs
