Turkestan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Mongolia.  Also,western China provinces (Xinjiang, Qinghai and Tibet).

If a country ends in -stan, it is probably in Central Asia.
