Lochkin Brave all set to win Festive Fever @ The Dogs A3 525 Final
It was quite surprising for the sport fans to see Lochkin Brave winning the Semi-Final game of the Festive Fever @ The Dogs A3 525 on November 15. It was the J. McGee-trained brindle dog’s maiden triumph.
Deeply impressed by the one-year-old novice hound’s heroic, the punters have picked him as the 2-1 hot favourite candidate for the Final race of the grand tournament.
Thus, tonight is the time of great trial for the rookie runner who has to take on some big adversaries for the sake of €450. The heated contest is set to take place at Shelbourne Park.
The way Lochkin Brave started his career on July 4 was not so impressive. Till October, it had been an ordinary runner who was never expected to make any big impact.
The sport lovers and analysts started noticing him on October 10 when he finished as the runner-up in the Try A Trio A3 525. He fought hard against Dimwit, but lost by a length’s margin.
Then suddenly, the talented son of Kinloch Brae out of Strangford Katie raised his market value greatly on November 15.
Now, Lochkin Brave is standing on a very critical stage. If he manages to pass through it successfully, he will be able to become a strong and confident runner.
In tonight’s mega showdown, the favourite candidate will have to face immense resistance at the hands of Kilgowan Oak who also won a Semi-Final game on November 15 by beating the favourite rival Cabra Ranger.
The Murray trained black dog is too packed with fighting spirit. Debuting on June 22, he broke his maiden by winning a S3 race with the margin of 3 lengths on October 8.
Thus, the final contest is all about underdogs. The line-up for this race is far different from what the punters and experts were expecting a few days back.
There is likely to be a thrilling and interesting battle tonight. A large number of the sport fans will turn out to the stadium to enjoy the live action. Let us see how Lochkin Brave manages to get the breakthrough.
