I have never been incarcerated or arrested.  I have been inside a jail.  It was more fun for me and my classmates than it was for the poor teacher.  You just cannot lock up a child.  Every place is their playground.  As an adult, I imagine that it would not be fun.  Different jails have different rules.  The duration will also determine clothing.  You probably have to wear an inmate uniform.  Movement is restricted.  Your food is provided with two choices.  You take it or leave it.  Punishments vary.  In some cases it can accurately be described as torture.  Too bad for some that torture is legal.
